Meeting for local pickup

Choose a public, well-lit location when possible. Tell someone where you are going, avoid carrying unnecessary cash, and do not enter a stranger’s home if you are uncomfortable.

Payments and shipping

Use payment methods that provide appropriate records or buyer/seller protections. Be cautious of requests for unusual payment methods, overpayments, gift cards, codes, or transactions that move outside normal communication unexpectedly.

Protect your account

Keep your password private. Vow & Found will never ask you to send your password or email verification code to another user.

Report concerns

If a listing, message, or user seems suspicious, stop the transaction and contact Vow & Found. For an immediate threat or emergency, contact local emergency services.
